Principal of Heaney Ink., Kerry Heaney is a journalist and editor with 20 years of experience in metropolitan newspapers and magazines. She started her writing career with an antiques column in The Courier Mail which ran for 10 years and also has written on property, health, camping, gardening, transport and computers. For 15 years she was editor of Heritage InTrust for the National Trust of Queensland and for five years she edited 50 something, a national lifestyle magazine.

For three years Kerry edited r + b home - a Brisbane-based magazine for local renovators.

Kerry also expanded her editing experience with six years as editor of Inflight Magazine for regional airlines around Australia.

Currently editor of Go Camping Australia and Feast on Q, Kerry also contributes to Style Magazine and Unwind Magazine.

She also writes business newsletters and consults on public relations and publicity.

Kerry has a Bachelor of Business (Communications) from the Queensland University of Technology.
